Whether you enjoy tactical strategy, or love the action of war, Totally Accurate Battle Simulator will satisfy both, giving the player both a chance to strategize, and a chance to create and participate in chaos through possessing units. These modes add a nice challenge to the game to anyone who enjoys tactical strategy. These are made challenging through automatically generated enemies and limited money, however, they never seemed unfair, as because I never felt too short or overwhelmed, regardless of enemy numbers, as long as I deployed the right strategy. If you are looking for a tactical challenge, look no further than the other modes, which includes Adventure Mode, Challenge Mode, and a few others. Regardless, sandbox is capable of fulfilling any combat scenario you can dream of. Otherwise, bugs have seemed rare to me, likely through luck. The only downside is that there are some bugs that occur during the action, such as a combatant getting stuck in another, resulting in funny, yet awkward scenarios where neither person is able to hit each other. Controlling a unit is simple and easy to do, any really gives off a feeling that you are in the war. You can either watch the action unfold from any viewpoint, or you can take part in the action by possessing a unit, and both are satisfying to do. However, your FPS will drop if you place too many. You can place any combatant, and as many as you want, without limitations. The sandbox mode is a ton of fun to play, and feels very replayable. With an expanding roster of eras and types of combatants to pit against each other, this game is hilarious offbeat fun.
